The ChessBase India Chess Club began on 19th of March 2022 at the Phoenix Marketcity Mumbai. Two years down the line, we have had more than 100 Saturday sessions, several prize money events and visits by some of the most prominent personalities in the world of chess – Vidit Gujrathi, Anish Giri, Samay Raina, Tania Sachdev, Soumya Swaminathan, Surya Ganguly, Vishnu Prasanna, Aditya Mittal, Pravin Thipsay and many more.
