IM Neelash Saha (2446) had a fantastic start at the 1st Bangalore International Grandmasters Open 2024 as he defeated GM Nigel D Short in the fourth round. Though he suffered a loss in the sixth round against GM Abhijeet Gupta, Neelash made a strong comeback to finish the tournament on a high. Being the 20th seed, he finished sixth in the tournament.
