Divya Deshmukh performed brilliantly at the Grenke Chess Open 2024 by scoring 7.0/9. She managed to beat many strong players and she missed her GM norm by a whisker. The average rating of her opponents was 2378 and she needed an average of 2380 to score her maiden GM norm. That didn’t stop her from achieving the best women’s prize in the event. Immediately after the game Divya had to leave for her next tournament – the Menorca Open. We bring you her interview from the Grenke Chess.
