Friends, a few days ago ChessBase India had covered the two-day chess festival in Fujairah, UAE. During this time we also visited the Fujairah Chess Club currently under construction. Now Fujairah is also going to become the new center of chess in UAE. The construction of Fujairah Chess Club will be completed by the end of this year. The way this club is being built, it will witness many great chess tournaments in the times to come.During this tour with us, the club president Dr. Abdullah Al Barket himself was telling us about all the future plans. During this time, FIDE Executive Director Victor Bologan was also present who was discussing about the club.
