97-year-old Giovanni Diena is a humble nonagenarian from Italy. He is the first person in Italy to develop a computer program which was used in chess tournament pairings for 12 years in his country. We also get to know about his journey in chess, how he likes to play tournaments and a lot more.
A special thanks to his nephew, 70-year-old Antonio Rossini who helped us translate the interview.
