Youngest National Senior Champion of India and founder of ChessGrad – GM FT Akash G

At the age of 16 years, Akash G became the youngest National Senior Chess Champion of India in 2012. The record is still not broken. He became India’s 66th GM in 2020. The Grandmaster was the Chief Guest of 5th Shaastra Rapid Rating Open 2023. He talks about the online chess learning platform – ChessGrad, also about the chess club named ‘Castle Red’ which he started in his college – College of Engineering, Guindy. Akash is also a FIDE Trainer.
