Gukesh played a scintillating game at the Delhi GM Open 2022 when he faced Karthik Venkatraman. Perfectly timed moves! Excellent ideas on show. When asked about the game, Gukesh was very straightforward with his reply. It’s something that I learned from Anish Giri’s game against Vidit Gujrathi. Although the position wasn’t identical, the motifs were so similar. Check out the game and learn how these young talents are so strong. They keep an eye on all the top games that are taking place and assimilate the important ideas and then execute them flawlessly over the board. Not to forget – Gukesh and Anish Giri were in the same time (Kingslayers) at the Chess Super League.
