It was the final round of the World Blitz 2022 and both the players were naturally very tired. On one hand you had Salem Saleh, the best chess player that UAE has ever produced and on the other you have the multiple time World Blitz champion Alexander Grischuk. The game starts off with a Nimzo Indian. Salem plays confidently because he had played this same exact line against Nepo in the World Rapids 2022. Grischuk also knows his stuff. All of a sudden Salem gives up a pawn. Now was this a mistake or was it home preparation. It is quite unclear!
