Vidit Gujrathi played a solid and safe line to put pressure against Hans Niemann from the white side of the Ruy Lopez in round 6 of the FIDE Grand Swiss at the Isle of Man. But very soon the position became wild and Vidit had to calculate with great accuracy. The Indian GM managed to do that but of course there were many hidden lines. Vidit shows us some of these variations and the ideas that helped him to become a co-leader of the event with 4.5/6.
