It has become a tradition now that Sagar Shah interviews Magnus Carlsen after the World Rapid and Blitz Championships. It happened in 2019, then in 2021, 2022 and now for the 4th time in 2023. This year just like in 2019 and 2022, Magnus managed to win both World titles – rapid and blitz. It was a phenomenal achievement by the Norwegian as he achieved his 17th world title. In this interview, Sagar goes over some of the best games of Magnus from this event, gets his thoughts and also talks to him about the plans for 2024 and the current FIDE World Championship cycle.
