Zhansaya Abdumalik became the first woman of Kazakhstan to become Grandmaster. She is the no.1 woman and overall no.4 player of her country. How did her journey start? How did she get into chess? Apart from being a top player of her country and one of the strongest female chess player currently in the world, she is also the Deputy Mayor of her city, Almaty. She also has her own academy named – Zhansaya Abdumalik Chess Academy.
