Here is my new video from my “Best chess games of all time” series. In this series I will show you the best chess games that have been played in chess history. Today’s game will we’re going to look at one of the most aggressive games of all times, played by GM Levon Aronian and the former World Chess Champion GM Viswanathan Anand at the Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2013, Round 4.
The Variation they played was a very sharp Meran Variation of the Semi-Slav Defense, an opening that was Anand’s favourite and that he played also in his world chess championship match against Kramnik in 2008.
