Arjun Erigaisi won the Tata Steel Challengers with 9.5/12 with a round to spare. A big role in his victory was played by his trainer Srinath Narayanan. We were able to get Srinath for an interview where we spoke about his role as a trainer, what makes Arjun special and much more. Srinath has now many feathers in his cap, including the coach of the gold medal winning team of the Online Olympiad, coach of Arjun, coach of Nihal Sarin. A huge asset for Indian chess.
