Sangeeta Agrawal is the mother of India’s recently minted IM Vantika Agrawal. Sangeeta is a CA by profession and she was working in a very well-known firm called the Ernst and Young. Her career was going strong, but at some point she made a decision – a decision to quit her job and focus on the growth of her children. She began travelling with Vantika to different tournaments, and helped her in every possible way from her chess to academics. This is a story of a woman who gave up on her personal dreams to support her kids to achieve something special. This is a story of patience, never give up and self-belief.
