Koneru Humpy’s battle against Lei Tingjie in the semi-finals of the FIDE World Cup 2025 was quite incredible. Their classical games ended in 1-1 tie. In the 15-10 segment also we witnessed two draws. Moving into 10+10 segment Lei Tingjie struck first. Humpy did not give up and equalized the score. It was now time for 5+3 blitz segment. Commentary by IM Sagar Shah.
