Arjun Erigaisi won the 58th MPL National Championship 2022 by scoring 8.5/11. In this victory interview he talks about how he was almost not going to play the tournament, but then decided to play just couple of days before the event. He speaks about how the tiebreaks are unfair for Gukesh who played equally well like him, but had to settle for the 2nd spot. Arjun recommends playoffs as a better approach. The youngster talks about his next event – the Bangladesh Chess League. His aim for the year is 2700 and he is 29 Elo points away from that goal!
