I’ve been digging through my scoresheets from the nearly 200 USCF rated events I’ve played, and I’m pleased to share my findings with you in this series! Here we have a look at a game I played with the White pieces at the 1999 National Elementary Chess Championships in Phoenix, AZ. I was 12 years old with a USCF rating of 1200, and my opponent was Joshua Weinstein, USCF 1423.
