I’ve been digging through my scoresheets from the nearly 200 USCF rated events I’ve played, and I’m pleased to share my findings with you in this new series! Here we have a look at my 11th ever USCF-rated game, which was played at the National High School Chess Championships in Sioux Falls, SD. I was 12 years old with a provisional USCF rating of 1078, and my opponent was Paul Mattione, USCF 1136.
