Aron Nimzowitsch and Seigbert Tarrasch had a huge chess rivalry. It began in their first game ever in 1904, but Tarrasch landed a huge blow in their rivalry with his thrilling victory 10 years later in the great St. Petersburg tournament of 1914. Lasker may have invented the double bishop sacrifice, but Tarrasch perfected it here.
