Weissenhaus was home to the Freestyle Chess GOAT Challenge from 9th to 16th of February featuring Magnus Carlsen and some of the best players in the world. The tournament was perhaps one of the best organized events that the world has ever seen. Jan Buettner, the main sponsor of the event, left no stone unturned in putting up a grand show.
