Turkmenistan no.3 IM Saparmyrat Atabayev (2433) could not have asked for a better start to his Asian Continental Championship 2022 campaign. He defeated 44th Chess Olympiad Gold medalist GM Nodirbek Yakubboev (UZB, 2663) after drawing with GM R Praggnanandhaa (2687) in the first round. We get to know about his thoughts on his fantastic start in this interview.
A special thanks to WFM Jemal Ovezdurdyyeva (TKM, 2061) for helping us by translating his answers.
