FM Ram Aravind L N (2116) defeats WGM Mary Ann Gomes (2349) at the 1st Maharashtra International Open Grandmaster Chess Tournament 2022 in Round 10 to score his maiden IM norm. Aravind talks about how crucial this game was and how he had to recalculate everything after his loss to IM Bhakti Kulkarni.
His only target was to win today’s game and score the norm today itself as he missed it yesterday. Aravind is currently on 6/10 with one round to go and he has a performance rating of 2459 and had already gained 84.6 Elo points.
