20-year-old WGM Priyanka Nutakki (2326) won the 50th National Junior Girls, secured a third place at National Women 2022. However, in her final apperance at World Junior (Under-20) Girls Championship, she had an unfortunate incident and met a harsh punishment. That did not deter her confidence or spirit, she continued working hard as she was before and went on to deliver a strong performance by winning the Silver at Asian Continental Women Chess Championship 2022. If there were any doubters, she silenced them with her performance and not by words. Those who know her, know that she is really a talented girl who is just getting started.
