While the GM tournament was the prime attraction in Indore, there was a very strong event running parallely from 3rd-6th April: The IDA Cup International Open Chess Tournament (U-1800)! Over 300 players took part in this swiss event, and Prashanth J Naik (1709) emerged victorious with a splendid score of 8/9.
