Praggnanandhaa finished Airthings Masters 2022 with a fine victory over Vladislav Artemiev. The Russian GM is one of the strongest rapid and blitz players out there. In a position that looked around equal, the Indian youngster found some very strong prophylactic moves and outplayed his esteemed opponent. Although Pragg could not finish in top 8 in the end, he won against players who finished 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the preliminaries. IM Sagar Shah analyzes Pragg’s win over Artemiev.
