Aesthetics is an important part of anything in life and many chess players are very particular about it. You can often see players adjusting their pieces to perfection before making the first move. It is also quite common to see players adjusting opponents’ pieces after they have made a move. In the game between Indian super talent GM Nihal Sarin (2702) and GM Alexander Moiseenko (2577), just before delivering a deadly fork, Nihal decided to adjust the opponent’s queen.
