MESSI VS RONALDO IN CHESS!!! – Which Game is shown on the Louis Vuitton Suitcase?

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have starred in their first-ever joint advertisement promoting the luxury clothing brand Louis Vuitton.

Having dominated discussions over who is the greatest footballer of all time, the pair seem to have now swapped the football pitch for a checkered suitcase, partaking in a more cerebral game of chess.

The Game shown on the briefcase is actually a beautiful game played by Magnus Carlsen agains Hikaru Nakamura in 2017. in Norway.

(4/4) On another note I could do with some tips on how to get a good sleep. It seems like I am a fully fledged insomniac. 😵‍💫
I was in bed at 1am last night but didn't even manage to get 1 minutes sleep after tossing and turning all night. Been awake for about 40 hours now. 😱

(3/4) I missed one very likely obvious winning move.
Here I played Bg2? but I should just play Qh6!
For some reason I had missed ...Qxh6 Bxh6 ...Nxc3 a3! Which is game over.
In the end I lost 😔 after Johann played excellently.

♘ Chess Quotes

“Chess is like life. To succeed in either one takes patience, planning, concentration, the willingness to set goals, and an inclination to see deeply into things. You have to go for the thing beyond. Chess is about seeing the underlying reality.”
