Meet India’s 25th WGM – 16-year-old Savitha Shri + how she beat the first 2600+ GM of her life

Savitha Shri achieved her final WGM norm and 1st IM norm at the Fagernes Open 2023. The youngster is the current India no.4 and had crossed 2400 Elo roughly 6 months ago. But she managed to finish her final norm and became India’s 25th WGM. In this interview with IM Sagar Shah, they go over Savitha’s fantastic win over GM S.P. Sethuraman and they also discuss her journey towards the WGM title.
