Two of the best players in the world, Magnus Carlsen and Fabiano Caruana, will compete in a hand-and-brain match featuring Tania Sachdev, and Maurice Ashley before facing off in a two-game exhibition match. Earlier this year, Carlsen won the inaugural Freestyle GOAT Chess Challenge against Caruana himself. Can he repeat the feat to win the match in Singapore?
Carlsen and Caruana will then face each other in a two-game match in the Chess960 variant (Freestyle chess). The time control is 90 minutes for the entire game, with a 30-second increment per move.
