Addendum : At some point in the stream I said Kasparov retired as the world champion – by mistake, I meant to say he retired as World no.1 – he was world no1 for 20 years ! He became world champion in 1985, and was World Champion for 15 years, until he lost the world championship match against Vladimir Kramnik in the year 2000.
