The Netherlands no. 4, GM Erwin L’ami had a fantastic start to the FIDE Grand Swiss 2023 as he is currently 2/2. He defeated GM Vidit Santosh Gujrathi (2716) in the first round and GM Vladimir Fedoseev (2691) in the second round by playing the longest game of the day.
