WGM Mary Ann Gomes (2224) has achieved a lot of accolades in her career. A little over a year ago, she was instrumental in the Indian team’s historic Silver medal triumph at the World Women’s Team Championship 2021. Despite Blitz not being her strong suit according to her, she managed to score 7/9 and secure a second place finish at Asian Continental 2022 Women’s Blitz Championship.
