This is a fun interview we did with Denis, an 8 year-old English player who attended the Battersea/Chessable meetup in London, England on Nov. 29, 2017. Denis gave me and IM Christof Sielecki a very tough game in our simul (if I remember correctly, he played us to a draw!), and he performed well in the blitz tournament, too. It was a pleasure to talk with Denis and his father, and with his great attitude I think he’ll go far in chess and life.
