The year 2025 has seen Pragg in excellent form. He came to the Superunited Rapid and Blitz in hot form fresh from winning the UZChess Cup. On the other hand Gukesh hasn’t been playing much and his last classical event wasn’t particularly great. It was an important and exciting clash at the Superunited Rapid 2025 in Zagreb Croatia.
