The MPL 11th National Schools Chess Championship Under-15 Open category was one of the most competitive groups of the tournament. Four players finished with the same score of 7.5/9 and Vignesh Advaith Vemula (1687) from Telangana was adjudged the winner due to a better tie-break score. Vignesh is very happy for winning the championship and plans to become an IM and not a GM. Why did he say that? Check the video to find out.
