“I just love playing chess” – Slovenia no.1 Woman IM Laura Unuk

Laura Unuk is the no.1 woman of Slovenia. She is the first and only woman of her country to become an International Master. She won the Slovenian Women’s championship when she was a teenager. The affable Laura won Gold in World Youth Under-16 and Under-18 Girls. She talks about her and the team’s performance at the 44th Chess Olympiad 2022, becoming the brand ambassador for Huawei Slovenia and Ferme clothing brand, the inception of her channel Checkitas with her friends and teammates, her brother Timej and a lot more.
