Mandar Pradip Lad (1776) from Goa was the top seed of the MPL 11th National Schools Chess Championship Under-17 OPEN and he clinched the championship with a score of 8 out of a possible 9. He finished a whole point clear of four players who finished with 7 points. In the interview, he talks about his performance at the national seniors and how he gained 194 ELO points.
