IM Arystanbek Urazayev (KAZ, 2441) made a blazing start of 7/7. He seemed absolutely unstoppable. However, a loss in the last two rounds against the eventual champion, GM Rinat Jumabayev (KAZ, 2561) and fourth place finisher, GM Sankalp Gupta (2402) abandanone his Gold hopes. Still his tie-break was so good that despite two losses, he managed to finish securing a Silver medal. Check out his thoughts on his games and his performance at the event.
