How Swapnil Dhopade’s novelty helped Humpy to win a crucial game in 2018 Olympiad

Swapnil Dhopade is the coach of women’s team B at the Chess Olympiad 2022. The team consists of Vantika Agrawal, Soumya Swaminathan, Mary Ann Gomes, Padmini Rout and Divya Deshmukh. The team has a perfect balance of youth and experience. Swapnil speaks about the members of the team and also tells us how he got this opportunity to be the coach of the team. The GM from Amravati also tells us the reason why he is motivated and inspired to be the coach of the Indian team. It relates to an incident from the 2018 Olympiad that he had with Koneru Humpy.
