European Team Chess Championship 2021 and European Women’s Team Chess Championship 2021 will take place from 11th-22nd November in Catez, Slovenia.
The events will be played according to the Swiss System in 9 rounds, with time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves + 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with 30 seconds increment for every move played starting from the move on.
Each ECU member has the right to enter one team of four players + one reserve player in the Open competition and one team of four female players + one reserve player in the Women’s competition. The hosting federation may compete with more than one team in each section by approval of the ECU Board.
