Working out of a Gurgendize System (1.d4 g6 2.e4 Bg7 3.Nc3 c6), I’m disoriented by my opponent’s Bc1-e3 and Qd1-d2 approach. I seek a queen trade, but White obtains a certain initiative even after we swap. A critical moment occurs on move 20, where White must decide whether to further pursue an attack by trading two knights for my rook and pawn.
