It’s very rare for a person to beat the World Champion and yet not be happy with his game. This shows how objective the 16-year-old youngster is. D. Gukesh beat Magnus Carlsen for the first time in his chess career at the AimChess Rapid which was the part of Champions Chess Tour. The game started as a French Defence (Carlsen was black) and very soon Gukesh overextended himself landing in a lost position. However, being the staunch defender that he is, he kept trying to find resources and Magnus blundered in a winning position. Gukesh took full advantage of it and became the youngest player ever in the history of chess to have beaten Carlsen as the World Champion. In this short clip Gukesh speaks about this game.
