In this video, we carefully examine a gambit that has plagued 1.d4 players for years: the Englund Gambit. In the Englund, Black meets 1.d4 with 1..e5, and tries to either recoup his investment or attain a development advantage in return for the sacrificed pawn. We cover all of the important lines, dodging vicious traps along the way and punishing Black in the cruelest way possible for his opening shenanigans!
