GM Swayams Mishra is one of the finest trainers in the new generation of trainers coming up in the country. He was the assistant trainer of the Indian women’s team that won the historic bronze at the Chess Olympiad 2022. In this interview Swayams speaks about his role in the team. He was mainly given the responsibility of handling the preparation of Humpy and Tania Sachdev. Swayams tells us the way in which he worked, some opening ideas that worked, and some that did not. He also speaks about the deep strategies that were employed by the team to prepare themselves in the best possible way for this huge event.
