The game of chess can be harsh and heart-breaking even for seasoned professionals. In the fourth round of the 1st Bangalore International Grandmasters Open, two of India’s experienced grandmasters GM R.R. Laxman (2338) and GM Abhijeet Gupta (2605) faced each other. In the video, we show you the final moments of the game. Though Laxman was a pawn down in the endgame, the position could have been held to a draw with his caliber. But one wrong move and he lost the game. But what happened after that will show how tough chess can be and how important it is to move on to the next game.
