I’ve enjoyed playing the “cramped” side of the Hedgehog for a number of years, and I’d recommend Volume 1 and 2 of GM Sergey Shipov’s “The Complete Hedgehog” if you’re looking to learn more about these fascinating setups. Here I’m able to implement a couple standard ideas (the Saemisch Maneuver, …Be7-d8-c7, as well as the h-pawn push, …h7-h5), but my opponent throws up a roadblock in the form of 18.Bf2. As often happens in the Hedghog, the game then abruptly turns sharp!
