The Uzbek team dazzled with their performance at the Chess Olympiad 2022 winning the gold medal. One of the key members of the team was the young and talented Nodirbek Yakkuboev on board 2. With a rating of 2663 Yakkuboev is confidently moving towards the 2700 Elo mark. However, at the Asian Continental 2022, his run was brought to a halt by the talented IM from Madhya Pradesh Anuj Shrivatri. Born in 2004, Anuj is just 18 years old. Scoring a win against Yakkuboev shows what a bright future this lad has. Check out this interview of Anuj where he analyzes the key encounter.
