Arjun Erigaisi played a beautiful Scotch game against GM Lalith Babu at the 8th round of the Delhi GM International 2022. Lalith is known for his Caro Kann in response to 1.e4. However, against Arjun he opened with 1…e5. Arjun chose the Scotch and was the better prepared player. But the speed at which Arjun won the game was simply terrific. We bring you the final moments of the game along with an interview with the winner where he explains how he brought home the full point. With this win Arjun now moves to 2674.4 Elo – inching closer towards the 2700 Elo mark.
