Bharat Singh Chauhan, the secretary of the All India Chess Federation (AICF) was in Dubai for his meetings related to the Asian Chess Federation. But when he visited the playing venue of the World Championship 2021, it gave us a chance to talk to him and get updates about the new happenings in Indian chess. Bharat Singh speaks about the Indian Chess League, which is to be announced on the 14th of December, he also speaks about grassroot level projects including chess in schools. The Federation also is actively seeking sponsorships from Corporates so that it can ensure that the Indian chess players earn more out of the sport. A paradigm shift in the way the organization functioned.
