Magnus Carlsen had already played 4 Indian players out of 5 rounds at the Qatar Masters Open 2023. In the 6th round he faced another Indian youngster. The 2006 born, 17-year-old talent Aditya Samant. Aditya is India’s 83rd GM and gave Magnus a really tough fight. It seemed like the game might end in a fighting draw, but then something truly unbelievable happened.
